About MHA

MHA provides care, accommodation and support services for over 18,000 older people n the UK. Their mission s to improve the quality of life for older people and its inspired by a Christian concern.

They have care homes in which more than 5,000 older people are living. Many of which require special care or nursing.

There’s support for 2,500 older people living independently in purpose-built retirement living communities, with access to social and leisure facilities and flexible care should they need it.

mha_dementia_care_2Thre are also 10,500 older people living independently in their own homes with the support of our Live at Home schemes across the UK.

With more than 7,000 staff and a further 5,000 voluntary workers to support them, they are definitely making positive steps toward their mission.

How You Can Help

Being a registered charity, based in Derby, they rely heavily on the efforts of others. Fundraising and donations are a vital part of their success.
