Cosy Fund
Committed to supporting the education of children in the UK and Africa
The Cosy Fund
Cosy fund small projects but make a big impression! Formed in 2010 by the Ellse family who continues to fund it today. They are good at what they do and in 2017 cosy fund won the East Midlands Chamber Award for ‘Contribution to the Community’.
With a focus on improving the lives of disadvantaged children between the ages of 3-11 throughout the world. Cosy have concerns in the UK, Kenya and Gambia. In Africa, they aim to help improve educational standards and in the UK they help by funding such charities as the Derby Kids Camp which you can read about here. We are not talking about vast sums of money being paid out in one lump some here. The approach is more of a ‘little and often’ policy to help support kids in a practical way. So if you feel that you may fit into that category then it would be worth contacting them with your ideas.
Meanwhile, an example of this approach can be seen by checking out their website (see below) which gives details of the projects currently being funded in both Kenya and Gambia. There you’ll also find details of funding being provided closer to home. Given that today’s children are our future then Cosy can certainly be considered a worthy cause.
Cosy recently celebrated their 5th year with a gift
Here’s an example of how Cosy shines through. For their 5th anniversary, Cosy has purchased a farm and campsite in the heart of the Peak District to be used as a permanent home for local charity Derby Kids’ Camp. Peter Ellse CEO of Cosy Direct and Cosy fund founder certainly deserves a mention. Keep up the great work Peter! Read more about some of the projects that Cosy are involved in at their website.
