The Gilbert and Sullivan Society Choir

About the Gilbert & Sullivan Society

gilbert-and-sullivan-society-choirWe are a friendly choir! Comprising of people who love singing a wide range of music. Additionally, our current group ranges from students to “senior citizens”.

We perform a Spring concert and a Christmas concert in Chesterfield’s Crooked Spire every year. Further, in October we perform one of the Savoy operas.

Moreover, we can also perform in other concerts if requested so please contact us if you’re interested. Given that, the proceeds of our concerts help us to donate to local, national and sometimes international charities. Significantly, over the past few years, we have donated more than £30,000 to various charities.

We are based in Chesterfield. The choir is always interested to hear from new singers. Consequently, we would welcome anyone who has just moved to the area, or who wishes to start singing again.

Rehearsals are Tuesday’s 7.30 – 9.30pm
