A Warm Welcome To All
We are based in the historic Derbyshire town of Chesterfield and are currently over 80 members strong. Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir put on around four public concerts each year in various venues, including the Church of St Mary and All Saints – otherwise known as the famous Crooked Spire! We also hold an annual Choral Day to which everyone is invited.
We invite you to join our mission of promoting, improving, developing and maintaining public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals. (Registered Charity No 500561).
You might want to attend one of our concerts to ‘check us out’ before you join or you might have attended one of our Choral Days. You can simply come along and join us at one of our weekly practice sessions.
Look in the Diary Page to find a suitable rehearsal day or a concert that you want to attend.
Just turn up and see our Membership Secretary or any member of the Committee. We will be very happy to welcome you as a new member. More details here!
Our rehearsals take place at 19:15 on Thursday Evenings at
Ashgate Croft School
