Bakewell Farmers’ Market

The Bakewell Farmers’ Market 2018

The Bakewell Farmers’ Market has a lot going for it. Firstly, its one of the largest farmers’ markets in the country. Furthermore, its location offers plenty of parking spaces and is held mostly indoors.

Its run by Derbyshire Dales District Council and was formed in 2000. Back then, there just 28 producers. Since then its grown gradually and now there are approximately 75 stalls offering you the chance to buy an amazing choice of locally produced goods.

Both visitors and locals will enjoy the ambience here and as a result, the spin-off is that local hotels and businesses in and around Bakewell reap the benefits of the trade generated by the
Farmers’ Markets.

Most stallholders come from within a 30-mile radius. However, you’ll also find other speciality producers attending from up to a 100 miles away.
