Chapel-en-le-Frith Ladies Choir

About Chapel-en-le-Frith Ladies Choir

We are a choir of about 60 voices, in 3 sections – Soprano 1, Soprano 2 and Alto. Members are of a range of ages and from various walks of life. We come from Chapel-en-le-Frith, and Buxton and the surrounding area – as far away as Macclesfield, and from villages all around. We are a friendly group and if you are new to the area, joining us is a good way of making friends, although at the moment we have a waiting list.

Our Performances

We perform a varied programme. Works by John Rutter and Howard Goodall. Songs from the shows and favourites from the pop, jazz and world music repertoires. We perform 4 or 5 concerts a year and we also take part in other events such as carol singing and special celebrations.
